Secrets of the S-O-U-L-E-D OUT
Walk With Me January 21st, 2008Last time, I talked a little bit about being souled out to God and promised to share some secrets to help you in your journey. So, as promised…..
The SOULED OUT:
1. Accept the word of God as authoritative in all situations. They let the word of God shape them. It becomes their way not just a legalistic command of God that they must obey. They do not allow their minds to stir up rationalizations or justifications for being unfaithful to the word of the Lord. They simply obey.
2. Pray with confidence and frequency. They realize that prayer is not just a vehicle to get their way but an intimate time of communication with God that reveals his mind and will.
3. Live a consecrated life. A consecrated life is one set apart to bring glory and honor to God. It can also be defined as a life specifically set apart for God’s use. It does not imply a life of boredom, lack, or being a hermit; but, speaks to the power of practicing purity and holiness in every area of life. Those who are SOULED OUT maintain consecration as a lifestyle.
If you start here, you will be well on your way to living a life that is completely surrendered and souled out to God.
It is my prayer for you that your walk of faith be strengthened as you embrace his plan for your life.
Be blessed today and always,
MC

Souled Out comment: I am truly blessed to know that God moves in all the lands and provides us with the correct teachings for the seasons. To be souled out is to completly be delivered from self and unrightousness. I am so wanting to be filled more with HIS will and HIS way, and to come to the realization on how it is done, makes a vision and then comes the execution of it all. Now, oh my the application, here we go, now we have to stand and maintain the desires of being complete with HIM. I am getting the parable of souled out and knowing that it can be done. It will, and it shall be done!!! PRAISE BE TO GOD!! God bless you Pastor and your family!! May he continue to build your steps to heaven.
Blessings, Ann

I agree if we are honest with ourselves and answer the questions in the “S-0-U-L-E-D OUT” blog article we can all agree that most of us- Well me- haven’t quite been a SELL-OUT to our own thinking.
Pastor you talked about one of the greatest needs of Believers “were being a opposition to yourself”,
2 Tim 3:25. Until we give up our own thinking and ways of doing things people cannot really be S-O-U-L-E-D OUT.
I like the blog because it took me beyond the Word that was given. The first secret of being SOULED OUT reminded me of the Nike slogan “JUST DO IT”, if I accept the word of God as authoritative- I have to just do it. Yes, simply obeying; but its much more. Its a awesome postion of Power. Imagine a choice to be who God says we are. That shapes me. What man wouldn’t want to be the Abraham of his family when given the opportunity and understanding. I have a choice! That’s Power and Position.
The second secret of SOULED OUT, praying with confidence and frequency again takes me to unbelieveable places. A inmate relationship with God, 1 COR 2: 1-16, specifically v.16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that He may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. Asking for things is not that important when you realize God offers everything? A stronger relationship where I can say as my younger daughter says, let’s talk. All the things I really feel, want to say, and do is open to Him.
I realized how King David felt when he sinned with Bathsheba. Dread! Restore unto me the joy of thy salavation- Deliver me from bloodguiltiness-. As a believer your hidden life, public life, and spiritual life must be submitted to God and they all must be the same. I now think of sin not only as something I did or didn’t do but what reproach will it bring to God’s name. Living a consecrated life is directly related to living a pure and holy life.
Thanks Pastor for helping me expand my capacity for God and being SOULED OUT.
